10K Trainer Pro by C25K® app good for

Yes, you can follow the C25k program on your own... But this app makes it so much easier to follow! You wont have to time yourself or even have to keep track of your runs with this. And the program is great, I was able to lose around 40 lbs before I even did my first full 5k run! Recommended to everyone who want to get off their couch and start running.
Great app! Although, I could do without a daily reminder to review it, even though I already have! Otherwise, good stuff!
The app is simple in nature but very effective. Music can be opened in the background.
This app has been very important to me in pursuing my goals. If youre looking for a great way to learn how to run a 10k, I would recommend this to you. The approach is patient and allows your body to adapt to the increased rubbing distance and will help protect you from injury.
I find the app to be much more functional if I keep it on the live screen which wastes battery and for inhibits me from looking other screens. Aside from that I love the interval training and the way it builds stamina. This isnt really a training app, this is for someone who is always said I could never run a (fill-in the blank here) how do I get started? I do wish it tracked mileage better (or shoe tread wear). Honestly I would give it about 3 1/2 stars, but its better than a three so I gave it four out of five.
I know this is for total health, but whenever I needed to get a handle on my weight, I used this app and it just fell off.

Some bad moments

Fails to open most of the time even after reboots (cold and hard). Lots of ads even in the pro version. Annoyingly small buttons are hard to press with gloves on. If you dont click done after your run your day is forgotten. No statistics about your running pace or encouragement to maintain a pace.
Im up to week 7 on this app, and I thought I was making excellent progress. A little too excellent it seems. Today I compared the time this app shows for workouts against the clock on my treadmill and the difference was huge. I thought the only bug with this thing was that the notifications fire at completely wrong times, but it turns out the app cant actually keep time at all. Its been dropping minutes from all of my workouts. Im on week 7, but I might only be a week 4 runner. Now I have to go back and figure out where I am to see how much time I wasted. Thanks for the waste of cash and time.
Had problems with the free version, thought the purchase would fix. I was WRONG! You can start a workout and then without warning it stops. You check and it is off! Also have had numerous times I get two instances at same time. Voice gives instructions and then 1 sec later does it again.
Paid for the pro version and app still doesnt log/record distance. Contacted programmer repeatedly for troubleshooting and no offer to help; just kept saying it "should" work.
The trainer itself is great but other than eliminating the ads and skins (which I dont care about personally) what is the point of going pro? To get the watch integration. Unfortunately even the simple timer functions cant work without being tethered to the phone. This is the entire reason I upgraded. With a Plus phone I use my watch to listen to music while I run with the goal of leaving my phone at home to run outside. Nope. Cant do that. Whats the point then? I dont know either. Would love to "return" and just use the free version.
The watch app is literally no more than a viewer of the time, as long as your watch is connected to the phone. No alerts, no functionality, and definitely no untethered use. Worthless to upgrade to paid app
