Apple Watch App is worthless

I bought this app because it claimed to have a watch app. FYI: its just a glorified mirror of the iPhone screen. The watch does not notify you at all when youre supposed to run/walk. It doesnt ding or vibrate or anything. So, if your headphones are connected to your watch or youre running on a busy street, youll just have to hope your phone is loud enough. Having to keep the screen unlocked is just sad; the other running apps dont require that. Shame, Zenlabs, for asking people to purchase an app that is subpar.

Update: Good Gracious. I finally figured out the notification issue. Now for the watch issue. ____ Ive tested lots of c25k apps. I thought this one was my favorite. Gave me the c25k program and beyond to 10k. Wasnt there a screen lock? It doesnt work in the background - I dont even have the option to make it work in the background. If I start the app and move to my music app, it stops prompting you. If I lock my phone, it stops promoting. It is be the app on the screen and active. Once in a while, Ill get the stray prompt, "you can starting walking." Huh? I was walking. Did I miss a run prompt? It messes with your brain when that happens. The app for the apple watch is worthless. It only refreshes when you lift your arm to look at the screen. I cant remember if I started it on my phone or watch, but the watch app completed the warm up countdown and then just stayed at zero. It never prompted for run or anything. So if its not prompting with a little noise or vibration I cant use it since that is all its supposed to do.

Awesome running app for beginners or people who need to get back into it again

Great way to get back into running if youve come to a halt or youre in a slump. Every time Ive fallen back to not running, I start doing this app again and it brings me back to my top running shape! Highly recommend it to anyone whos never ran before or has stopped. Easiest way to get back into it again!

Run Yourself Fitter!

10k Trainer, and C25K, really work! In Jan 2013, I was 260lb, unfit, and the proverbial couch potato. My wife heard about C25K on NPR, and we gave it a try. Sure enough, in 8 weeks we were running 5k. I carried on with the 10k app, and ran my first 10k along the banks of the Ottawa River that April, and was 210lb by the end of the year. Since then, Ive gone back to the app a couple of times after Ive taken a break from running. Thanks to Zen Labs, Im now a runner, healthier than Ive been in 20 years. Highly recommended!

Does not work on iWatch

App will not open on iWatch as advertised. It just spins and never actually opens. Such a waste as I purchased the pro version based on this supposed feature.

The Only One You Need

I have probably bought about 5 of these couch to 5/10k apps and this is HANDS DOWN the best one out there. I never thought that Id be able to run for 5 minutes, let alone 40 and building. Its the best out there to whip your butt into running shape.

Great app! Helps keep your pace while learning to run. Dont kill yourself. Repeat a day when needed.

Fat to fit

This 59 year old started with C25K Jab airy 2015 and graduated to C10K in May 2015. In two weeks Ill run my first 10K.

Only problem I have is the way it opens. Love it otherwise!

Ive used this twice to prepare for a 10k and later to work on my speed. I highly recommend it for both purposes.
